7th Annual South Shore 4th/ 5th Grade Elementary Track & Field Classic Sponsored by South Lake Tahoe Optimist Club Hosted by ADSportsTahoe.com >> RESULTS (pdf) Tuesday, June 1, 2010 4:00pm – 8:00pm Community Youth Sports Complex at South Tahoe Middle School >> Download Meet Schedule (word doc) >> Download Meet Rules (word doc) This meet will include all 4th/5th grade girls and boys from the following: Lake Tahoe, Douglas County (Lake) & Alpine Unified School Districts, St. Theresa Catholic School and South Shore Home-Schools may participate. After a five year hold to build a new facility (2007) the track classic returns. In 2008 we returned with a new audience of athletes and track fans. Our best meet was in 2002 with a overwhelming success and many record breaking memories and smiles. More than 600 parents and friends witnessed 400 student-athletes. Thanks should go to all of you, your student athletes, and the many volunteers of past meets. The 2010 Track Classic is about education, fitness and community. Each school’s PE Specialist is will focus their final spring curriculum on track & field! Then get as many of your kids as you can ready to compete on Tuesday, June 1st 2010 to share classic track & field memories with their families and throughout our South Lake Tahoe Community. Each school shall hold an on-site qualifying meet to select their top (4) four student/athletes for each event and put their best relay teams on the track. AD Sports Tahoe can provide support in this area if needed. Please contact us regarding event management fees.
